The US is not going to have a government left. The current regime is dismantling everything and anything that might actually benefit its citizens. Is this what you voted for?

Trump’s obsession with Biden…yes, it has always been out of control. It’s no secret that when you spend this much time hating it becomes psychotic.

We have popular consensus on many gun safety measures but a democracy problem preventing passage. So long as one party (insulated by gerrymandering) remains in the thrall of a paranoid anti-government cult allergic to social responsibility, we will be stuck in the endless loop of death and paralysis
the gun lobby only partially accounts for failure to enact national common sense gun laws. We cannot ignore the role played by a reactionary ideology antithetical to US progress and reform, badly ignorant of our history and dependent on judicial fiat to get its way.

218 members signed the discharge petition to force a vote to extend ACA tax credits.

If Speaker Johnson refuses to bring forth the vote, he’s telling the American people loud and clear that rising health care costs are acceptable to him.

Jack Smith, in compliance with a subpoena, is testifying before Congress today, but behind closed doors, at the insistence of Jim Jordan and his fellow “weaponization” propagandists. What are they afraid of?

Opinion | I'm Trump's former lawyer. Jack Smith should be celebrated, not vilified.
John Dowd: Jack Smith was once my adversary in a high-profile investigation of a Republican client. Smith was fair, impartial and fearlessly committed to the facts and the law.
