A horrible lesson wildfire taught us in Colorado is that home values increased well beyond the insured amount. When neighborhoods were devastated by fire, people suffered a second crippling blow by being told insurance won't cover the cost of rebuilding. Not even close.

Baking my way into 2025: Loaded Baked Potato bread, Bolillo rolls, and bagels. Because the scent of baking bread is comforting, and that's what I need.
Next up: buttermilk hamburger buns.
