This is one of the biggest things I've changed my mind about in recent years. I don't think huge taxes on these guys will fund healthcare or anything, but these bigoted idiots cannot be allowed power.

It's not just that. A police officer *is the state.* The state presumes innocence until guilt is proven in a court of law. Any policies or actions of law enforcement that violate that presumption are not enforcing the law—they are contradicting it.
I heard a good point. If that officer felt “threatened” by that lady such that he had to kill her, he is too fragile to be a cop.
