Oh, shut up! 🤣 Ncuti personality is already like many of the Doctors. Also, none of U had a problem when David Tennant did exact same thing. Both of them have the Doctor's character traits in real life, so they brought that same energy to the character, but it’s only a problem for 1. I wonder why?🤔

Irish Equity President, Gerry O’Brien with recently elected SAG/ Aftra president Sean Astin at the 23rd FIA congress in Birmingham.

Both organisation will be discussing issues affecting both unions. Especially US productions filming in Ireland.

It is a huge relief that the European Court of Justice has rejected the demand by Denmark and Sweden to annul the Adequate Minimum Wage Directive.

President Connolly lays emphasis on climate change in her first speech
President Catherine Connolly has called for action on war, genocide and climate change, saying the normalisation of war “has never been and will never be acceptable” to Ireland, a nation with a long tradition of neutrality and peacekeeping.

It gets better!

Latest mistranslation of the subtitling:

"Clean egg Oh God Nora"

(On the right turn there just now).

New candidate for most ridiculous mistranslation of the subtitling from *our national broadcaster* (so far):

"Hulk of the urn".

Did anyone in the fully hearing community hear the name of the tune Miriam O'Callaghan referred to right after 'Sí Mór & Sí Beog'?

...it was very pretty, but I'm willing to bet it was not, as the ridiculously teeny subtitles said: "Thyroid Music" 🙄

I do not understand the Labour government's reticence over defending the BBC and social media regulation. Their long-term survival basically depends on it. Their cowardice in the face of it may be the single thing they are most remembered for.

The reaction to the Panorama edit has been nothing short of hysterical. Yes the BBC has some impartiality problems. But its biggest isn't the one you think.

New piece from me.

“There is an increasing need for the public to be informed in a way that is impartial, truthful and is based on evidence they can trust. That is the sacred job of the BBC.”
