I think the age of streaming has resulted in 4+ hour playlists rather than the carefully curated mixtapes we'd make when we were limited to what would fit on a cd.
Does anyone else still create mixtapes/playlists with an intentionally limited number of tracks?
Or create them for specific people?

I changed my name 17 years ago (just name not pronouns or gender). I'd never been happy with my birthname and I decided to make the best of our entire office being laid off, using that as an opportunity for a clean switch.
I gave the family a few months heads up as I knew they wouldn't be happy

my niblings were *three and six* when i came out to that side of the family, with my new name and they/them pronouns. they switched immediately and got it right 97% of the time, and corrected all the adults around them who misspoke

Eugh EE trying to con me by telling me they're giving me a free* tablet when I had to phone to renew the broadband
* they didn't mention the extra tenner a month I'd have to pay for data, despite me specifically saying I didn't have much use for a tablet. They lied saying it was cheapest deal

For months I've thought someone has been talking about a cat and it only dawned on me today they've been referring to their partner when they mentioned that 'the bear' takes lukewarm showers
They even posted conversations and I just assumed they were imagined conversations with the cat (like I do)

Snuck in a flask filled with homemade gin martinis. Don't judge, it kept them cool and you're only jealous you didn't think of it first.
