The state of Utah voted to ban pride flags so Salt Lake City Council decided to make official city flags that incorporate the progress pride, Juneteenth, and transgender flags so they can fly them without breaking state law
If approved, SLC would have 4 flag designs. It's current, as well as one tied to Progress Pride, Juneteenth and Transgender designs as seen here #utpol:

This is a general thought, not a subtweet, but I increasingly feel like there's a lot of unintentional revisionism about US public opinion during the pandemic. Views obviously shifted, but early on there was *remarkably* broad support for a wide range of mitigation tactics

Now that Maine has banned child marriage (woohoo!) MARYLAND!! remains as the last state in the northeast to allow child marriages. Our children deserve better. When will MD ban child marriage?

Missouri Rep. Keri Ingle just obliterated House Majority Whip Hardy Billington,who, at 72, is still out here defending child marriage. Disgusting. She said what needed to be said, and she didn’t hold back. Protecting kids shouldn’t be a partisan issue, but apparently some grown men in power think
