watching a video about JoAnn and the "what went wrong" was stuff I saw working there as far back as 2005. So much damn fleece (what was even worse were the no-sew fleece kits; the people obsessed with making those blankets wanted to match colors themselves, so the kits would sit forever)

The thing about Make America Great Again is that it’s clear and actionable to voters regardless of any prior knowledge, while being vague enough that you can project any idea into it. “Strong floor, no ceiling” is just confusing meaningless rhetoric to anyone who doesn’t follow venture capitalists

This shit is why I'm getting less and less work on anime and having to scramble to ask around with YouTubers for help letting me do their CCs just to pay my damn rent. There's enough anime to caption out there that I should not be fucking struggling.
After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

So the Banana Fish AI dub is def cause it’s shoujo and BL right. Like they’re def testing the waters on AI dubbing against two audiences who get crumbs anyway and are likely to take it and smile.

This is a flaw in the way capitalists have designed the modern economy, not in us.
"Device hoarding" is GOOD for the environment and for our individual wallets.
"Devices" used to be made to last 10+ years—or lifetimes!

It's gonna sound lazy of me, but I don't have to force myself to have a ton of "ideas", I just pick a few I do have, and spend time... working on those. Doing the work helps me determine if those "ideas" are actually worth anything. Slowing down is good, art isn't a race
