Been thinking about how some of us grew up in a time where there was not 1 "news" channel WHOLLY dedicated to defending one POTUS, one party... NO MATTER WHAT it did. No matter how objectively awful. And facts were a generally accepted thing. How far we have fallen. How far Fox has pushed us.

If you’ve ever been kept waiting in a hospital because staffing was a mess, this is why. Legacy won’t pay nurses what Kaiser and OHSU do, so folks keep burning out. Nurses are striking and we’re standing with them. Join in: https://www.mobilize.us/oregonworkingfamiliesparty/event/874594/
Stand with Workers: Oregon Nurses Association Strike at Legacy · Oregon Working Families Party
Beginning Monday, December 2 at 6:00 AM, **Nurses with the Oregon Nurses Association (ONA) at Legacy Health are going on strike** to demand fair compensation and the staffing levels patients deserve. Legacy continues to lag behind Kaiser and OHSU in pay which hurts its ability to recruit and retain the high-quality, skilled healthcare workers that Oregon families rely on. We’re joining ONA to stand with striking nurses on the picket line, show **solidarity**, and make it clear that frontline...

It’s wild how the press is ok with the president abusing the pardon power. That used to be one of the most scrutinized things about a presidency.

We now have an unprecedented level of income & wealth inequality.

It isn’t acceptable that the top 1% owns more wealth than the bottom 93%, while a majority of Americans live paycheck to paycheck.

We must stand together & create an economy that works for all, not just the few.

Netflix

Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

The X platform now has a new tool that promotes scrutiny about the origin of X accounts.

I've noticed lately that more trolls are invading Bsky. This same feature that X has so members can check an account's country of origin would be super helpful to weed out the bad guys from causing harm here.

If you receive an illegal order, you have a duty to disobey.

This isn’t controversial.

A President calling for the execution of anyone who reminds service members of this oath is showing us why the duty to disobey illegal orders is so important in the first place.

So the fact they voted to release the #Epstein files means they finally got all the most incriminating stuff scrubbed out? That's what took so long, right?

Maybe one of you can answer this question. Can the incriminating evidence in the #EpsteinFiles be deleted before public release? Is it possible Trump's folks wouldn't try? I haven't found an answer to this.
