OPINION: "In Mississippi, court-ordered special elections under fairer maps yielded three Democratic pickups. They ended the GOP’s veto-proof supermajority in the state Senate. The Legislature remains Republican-controlled, but the era of rubber-stamping is over," Duvalier Malone writes.

This is a case study describing horizontal transmission of Hepatitis B in a daycare. It turned out a child with some biting/scratching behavior was a carrier of Hepatitis B 😬

Note the study is from 1989! Such cases declined a great deal after ACIP recommended perinatal Hep B vaccination in 1991
Hepatitis B virus transmission between children in day care - PubMed
We investigated two situations involving hepatitis B virus exposure among children in day care. In the first a 4-year-old boy who attended a day care center developed acute hepatitis B; another child at the center, who had a history of aggressive behavior (biting/scratching), was subsequently found …

The masks are off with ACIP. Several of them are bigots who do not give a DAMN about people who suffer with Hepatitis B because they blame them for having it.

CBP Chief Greg Bovino & other officials have repeatedly misstated the legal requirements for these arrests. DOJ explained that they aren't lawyers, but the judge said that was a “remarkable” suggestion that the admin's highest ranking policymakers are either “ignorant or incompetent, or both.”

#ICYMI: I wrote about the chaotic flood of immigration detention cases caused by the Trump administration's attempt to reclassify *millions* of migrants who have lived here for years/decades as "arriving aliens," and the remarkably broad (and growing) array of federal judges who keep rejecting it:
195. The Immigration Detention Flood
The Trump administration's attempt to quietly—but massively—expand who can be detained pending their removal has been met with overwhelming pushback from a remarkably large number of district courts.

The normalization, “view-from-nowhere”, “born-yesterday”, stenography, “both-sides”, irresponsible headline are disgraceful.
THE story is the CDC&FDA are being destroyed by antiscience & Americans will die.

If a phone still works fine, it’s not “device hoarding” to keep using it. It’s common sense.
