The lunch counter sit-ins spread across the South. In Houston, 13 Texas Southern students sat down at Weingarten’s and refused to move.

What people forget: Solidarity has always been key, even when forced underground.

I really feel like a broken record, they *wrote* *all* *this* *down*

The playbook has been followed, faster than even it's authors thought possible.

If you want to know what's next, just read Project 25, it's all in there (crashing the economy, creating more unrest, escalating that unrest)

The administration wanted the media to silence how we feel about this man.

But when the media has turned into something that can't be trusted, we are all the reporters now. And a lot of us tell the truth.

Trump gets: $5 billion in crypto deals, a $400 million plane, millions in deals from Facebook, Amazon, CBS.

Everyone else gets: higher prices for health care, electricity, and groceries.

Corruption, plain and simple.

The only way to listen to Trump's incoherent babbling and lies.
This is Trump’s answer to a question about the Epstein files without his voice or face. As usual President Trump got extremely defense and changed the subject immediately. Why is he not releasing the files? What is he hiding?

Big thanks to the San Benito Dems for hosting me yesterday. Got to fire up the crowd (remember, we have to fight if we want to win) and had a chance to talk with the current CA Speaker of the Assembly, Robert Rivas, which was cool (that’s his district).

Met a lot of neat folks, vote yes on Prop 50!

This is how Trump tells a black female reporter to "know her place."

Note how this was acceptable to all the other journalists. This is how decency dies, in silence.

I never liked Liz Cheney's politics. She voted many times in her career along the GOP lines, but I respect that, after January 6th, she stood up against her own party for a greater good. I felt the same about John McCain. They had basic political decency in common, unlike majority of Republicans.

I remain as convinced today as I was five years ago that there is a need for an outlet that is fiercely independent and unapologetically pro-democracy. I am certain that Democracy Docket is uniquely situated to help fill that gap.
