Because the first question shifts the blame to the desperate, making their morality the focus, while the second question demands accountability from the powerful. It's easier to question survival than to challenge greed.

Thanks for this. Well said.
1/ People treat willful ignorance like it's harmless but it's literally how atrocities happen. "I didn't know" becomes "I didn't want to know" becomes "I knew but it wasn't my problem" and suddenly you're on the wrong side of history wondering how you got there
Willful ignorance is not the absence of knowledge, but the refusal to engage with certain truths

It also requires taking time out of your busy schedule,(and breaking habits) to stop and take a look at the world around you.Preferably before it comes knocking at your door. Some world and local news needs to be part of our day.& that needs to be viewed with open eyes, separating opinion from facts.

It shouldn’t have to happen to you for it to matter to you.💙
They stayed silent because it wasn’t their problem. That’s how injustice wins, not by force, but by the quiet approval of those who look away.

The system doesn’t need to break you. It just needs you to do nothing while it breaks others. And when it’s your turn, no one will be left to fight for you.

An important lesson in under 3 minutes.

Silence legitimizes injustice.

And one day, no one will be left to speak out for you.

A reason why we got here is that the media stopped reporting facts and replaced reporting with making everything a reality tv show where contestants fight one another. It turned lying from a liability into an advantage since it would no longer be punished

So real. We keep fighting each other at the bottom when the real weight is coming from the top
Forget about the petty differences between us on the lower rank of society aka the poor.

Remember that the majority of your problems comes from the rich who exploit us every step of the way.

1. History isn’t there to be liked or disliked.
2. History is there to be learned from.
3. History offends you? Even better. Then you’re less likely to repeat it.

It’s that simple.

SON HEUNG-MIN !!! Such a lovable player !!!
I’ve never loved an athlete like I love Son. A wonder to watch who was an even more wonderful person and he was the one who truly loved the badge, sticking it out til he went out as a champion.

There’s only one Son Heung-min. There will only ever be one Son Heung-min.

The replies will tell you everything you need to know. If they’re all off-topic, hostile, and not mutuals, it’s not organic.
Pro tip: if you post something and it gets swarmed by pseudo-intellectuals with garbage takes, and not even one is a mutual, you’re likely the target of a social media division campaign.

This week’s screen time is embarrassing.
Watched all this in one week:
– Slow Horses
– TWD World Beyond
– TWD Dead City
– Karate Kid: Legends
– Heads of State
Don’t ask me what I did this week, just know I was booked and busy.

Had to rewatch Old Guard 1 before 2 cos I completely forgot what happened. Took them five years to drop 2. Now 3 is coming... in another couple of years? I’m gonna need another memory recap by then 😑

Corruption isn’t just some distant political scandal. It’s why someone’s mother dies waiting for care. It’s why a graduate can’t find work. The poor always pay, not in policies but in PAIN.

I don't know man, but I think you're doing great. Shit is really tough right now on so many fronts. I'm not saying it'll get easier or better anytime soon. I have no idea. But being creative, writing, drawing, whatever, is no small thing. And taking joy in those things is never a waste of time.
