It also requires taking time out of your busy schedule,(and breaking habits) to stop and take a look at the world around you.Preferably before it comes knocking at your door. Some world and local news needs to be part of our day.& that needs to be viewed with open eyes,separating opinion from facts.

A reason why we got here is that the media stopped reporting facts and replaced reporting with making everything a reality tv show where contestants fight one another. It turned lying from a liability into an advantage since it would no longer be punished

I don't know man, but I think you're doing great. Shit is really tough right now on so many fronts. I'm not saying it'll get easier or better anytime soon. I have no idea. But being creative, writing, drawing, whatever, is no small thing. And taking joy in those things is never a waste of time.
