Three Outlaw Samurai is a great film about three samurai who are sent out with a large group of guards to round up some villagers who have kidnapped the evil lord's daughter in order to get him to listen to their plight.
The Samurai take pity on them and decide to fight, though it seems hopeless.

When this AI/bitcoin bubble bursts, it won't be the big corporations who suffer (oh they'll lose money, but they'll recoup it just as quickly), no it will be the average working people who were duped into thinking this was the future and realized it was a ponzi scheme far too late.

The Ronin takes it upon himself to pit the two groups against each other and save the exploited villagers.

The Incal is another great comic book story which was illustrated by Moebius.
Once again his work is the pinnacle of great detailed sequential art, especially when he goes into those wide angle panels.
I highly recommend this one.
