Congress’s bill “would RAISE taxes for low-income Americans (Those making $30k or less). Every other income group would see LOWER taxes. The biggest savings would go to people in the $500k to $1 million income group.”

Block ICE by supporting @runforsomething.net.
NEW: Virginia's two most populous cities voted Harris in November, and both have Republican sheriffs up for reelection this year, at a time where sheriffs are rushing to help ICE.

There's no Democrat, or indy, challenging either sheriff.

Main filing deadline passed; a final one is in two weeks.

We should be investing in rural communities and making them better places to build a life & raise a family - not shutting down rural hospitals by choking off their funding.

Saving rural hospitals is one more reason to call your Representative and speak out against this GOP attempt to cut Medicaid.
Hundreds of rural hospitals are at risk of closing, threatening critical care
Hospital officials told CBS News the closure was driven by the same factors that have closed other rural hospitals: low reimbursement rates.

They wanted to pass this evil budget to take away healthcare from millions earlier today. It’s still stuck in the rules committee cause House Dems introduced over 500 amendments and we are lined up to debate on them. Delaying is important. Keep up the pressure on these Congressional Republicans.

A. I love this and B. The biggest irony is that Utah just redesigned their state flag in 2023 and they had over 7,000 entries.

A display of the submissions served as “a statewide art appreciation class,” said Utah Gov.

Consider this a “art appreciation” Cox.
Utah passed a law to ban Pride flags.

Salt Lake City created new official city flags that incorporated banned flag features, so they can be flown w/o breaking the law.

"So shines a good deed in a wearing world."
If approved, SLC would have 4 flag designs. It's current, as well as one tied to Progress Pride, Juneteenth and Transgender designs as seen here #utpol:

What if all credit card fees were put in a fund to be redistributed to nonprofits? That’d be cool.
Led by the Visa/Mastercard duopoly, 2024 saw a new record in credit card swipe fees - $187.2 billion, pounding retailers and driving up prices for consumers. This has gotta stop. The industry needs competition. Check it out.👇 merchantspaymentscoalition.com/credit-and-d...

He went back to his hotel to find 40K emails from Marriott associates worldwide saying “thank you.”

I think it’s really good that people are protesting in their own states and cities because it shows that these protests are community driven. Americans can fix this authoritarian slide. They can fix it, but running for office in their own cities and towns. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.
