I think we must admit that Silicon Valley wasn’t taking as a threat seriously enough ,only a tool for financial donations disregarding that these companies fundamentally have only their best interests in mind. Even if they know it facilitates violence and the destruction of political Institutions.

If the Supreme Court ultimately agrees with what the gov't is arguing today, that the President has broad Article II powers that would permit it to deport people & there can be no judicial review, then literally no one is safe.

I think this idea has been incredibly harmful in recognizing the efficiency of harms perpetuated by social media, writing something on this atm.
I think the years of people saying and believing the internet “isn’t real life” have contributed to why people are so clueless about things happening outside their immediate observable vicinity. Because their primary way of finding out about it is online but they don’t navigate it like a reality

UPDATE: A federal judge broadened the scope of an earlier temporary restraining order, blocking Trump from deporting anyone under the Alien Enemies Act while the case proceeds.

Flights carrying Venezuelan immigrants the DHS attempted to deport were ordered to turn around and return to the U.S.
