So, an act of violence and now the Republican government, using manufactured information based on racism and testerical conspiracy theories, is going to take violent ill-considered unconstitutional revenge on people who had nothing to do with it?

It just don't get any more George Bush than that.

This is framed as "lessons for the left," but Lander and Mamdani actually offer lessons for the center: Instead of ruthlessly undermining leftist candidates, emphasize shared values and refuse to amplify right-wing attacks.

Again to the point. Inside federal law enforcement ICE has always had a terrible rep. Place for people who can't get jobs at the more legit/disciplined federal policing agencies. High zeal to beat people up, low competence. Will get vastly worse hiring vast numbers under time pressure.
ICE is going to get someone killed.

This was outside 100 Montgomery in SF’s Financial District.

If you needed proof these rookie hires aren’t trained, here it is. Real feds de-escalate. They call for backup. They don’t drag people down the street w/a car.

Hope everyone’s OK.

A North Carolina appeals court heard state Supreme Court candidate Jefferson Griffin's (R) bid to throw out 65k ballots and overturn the results of his losing election.

“Now the right to vote is not absolute,” Griffin's lawyer said in court.

A reminder that Elon Musk's corporations were promised $3 billion across nearly 100 different contracts last year with 17 federal agencies.

While DOGE cuts essential services for you, Musk is getting a taxpayer-funded windfall.

Recall that in a footnote in her order denying the plaintiffs' motion for a TRO, Chutkan warned the DOJ attorney about sanctions for making misrepresentations to the court.
Trump now stating "I signed an order creating the department of government efficiency and put a man named Elon Musk in charge", contradicting the submission to Judge Chutkan.

Gavin Kliger, Elon's DOGE hitler youth shutting down USAID, is now indirectly responsible for the deaths of thousands of children. His Instagram appears to be @gkliger. He's scrubbing his online footprint.

Trump has repealed a Biden executive order mandating ethical behavior from administration employees.

The order told federal workers to:
-Not accept gifts from lobbyists
-Not take other bribes
-Not lobby for two years after government work
-And more

Now those rules are gone.

Pardoning violent thugs who attacked the US Capitol and assaulted cops to subvert an American election is quite fascistic.

No rule of law. No law and order. All that matters is following the Dear Leader, who incited violence with lies. This is a violation of his oath to protect the Constitution.
Trump: "So this is January 6. And these are the hostages. Approximately 1,500 for a pardon. Full pardon."

Constitutionally, President Trump cannot end birthright citizenship. What he can do is give cover for states like Texas and Florida to deny birth certificates and Social Security cards to newborns. He creates the confusion that he then can leverage for his own benefit. "Flood the zone with shit."
