Again, every elected Democrat needs to put out a video stating exactly what Kelly and the others said. If ever there were a line to draw in the sand, it’s here. The military is not the president’s Praetorian Guard.

Sharp piece by @jilldlawrence.bsky.social: “Not just once but twice, Donald Trump put his hand on a Bible and swore to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” He’s been violating that oath, and lying nonstop in all conceivable venues, ever since.”
Lying under oath? Seriously? The case against Comey is as hypocritical as it is weak and incompetent. From Trump on down, this is an administration people who got their jobs by misleading and outright lying to Congress. My latest at @thebulwark.com

Trump insisted Comey be prosecuted for supposedly lying to Congress—but his own administration is full of officials who lied to Congress.

The problem is even worse on Facebook, where the look-alike audience is functionality allows, scammers to target those who are duped by other scammers. It is a snake eating, its own tail of worthless content designed to confirm, racial hatred already existing in a ldisturbingly large percentage
"This has all been especially painful for X users who are, as a baseline, extremely racist. And they are now suffering through the psychic torment of learning that users, predominately from the Global South, are behind some of the bigger right-wing accounts on the site."

I see a lot of Paidchecks on X didn’t realize that a whole lot of people on social media lie about their location to grift off the naïveté of the rage-addled American right.

Turns out this problem is real and it’s a thing those of us who worked on “disinformation” pointed out.

Isn’t this missing the option to actually take a break — rather than just click on “this was helpful“ and then keep going?

The options here are not options at all

One of the changes that OpenAI has made to make ChatGPT safer is a "take a break" nudge. There's something quite interesting about the design here. Which thing does it make you want to click?

It’s blowing my mind that schools, universities, public services would run headlong into this. We spent 15 years documenting black boxes. This is a black box in a black hole!
I don't understand how anyone can watch how blatantly Grok is manipulated to answer the way ownership desires it to and then act like the other LLM chatbots couldn't possibly be similarly but less obviously compromised to produce responses in whatever way corporate interests and priorities dictate.

Pretty remarkable that Trump has installed someone on the Saudi dole — Jared Kushner collects millions in fees from the Saudis every year — in a key role for America's most sensitive and consequential foreign policy negotiations (Gaza, Ukraine), and it is largely TREATED AS A NON-STORY

Home Depot growth has now turned negative .

I guess rounding up migrants at the local hardware store with rental trucks from that very store isn't good for business .

Lowes doesn't have this problem and their growth is up .

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

AI generated slop ads are going to lead to an uptick in people going to farmers market, if nothing else. Talk about destroying brand value.

This is absolutely unacceptable.
The fact that nobody is even bothering to check the slop at any level is incredible. Yeah, I won't be trusting your beans to not be all rat shit if this is your level of quality control.
hey quick question!! Can anyone else see this? Is this real? Am I having an episode? Is this occurring? Am I dead? Am I dead and this is hell?

I apologize. I’m sorry my country elected someone who works for Putin. Someone who’s on Putin’s side. As long as he is President, America won’t stand with you. Just know tho, that most Americans DO stand with you.
