Those on an H1B cannot return to the US from tomorrow (Sunday) unless paying $100K. This is an out-of-the blue presidential action. We’ll see software engineers stranded abroad.

Y'all really aren't ready for them to seriously press creationism again. They're destroying the basic concept of truth because science ran head first into their Christian narrative of how the world works and now they're no longer on the back foot but the attack.

The Las Vegas incident screams to me of a former soldier in crisis, consumed by misinformation and a terrible media diet making a half-cocked "going out in a blaze of glory". No soldier is going to think that fireworks and gas cans make anything resembling an effective explosive.
i can't fully express to you how weird the firearms load-out was for the green beret who killed himself in a cybertruck. not in a thousand years would i expect an active-duty spec ops guy to choose these guns
