This. To banish the scourge of genAI, we need to respect, hire, and uplift artists MORE. Real art, made by real people, must be made important again. It is not a Product made for Profit, tossed into the Content Machine. It is Art.
Remember if you truly despise GenAI and its outputs you need to put a lot more time celebrating and lifting all the artists not using it and trying there best and learning. Share their art like that art and just talk about the stuff you like and enjoy. Don’t let the anger of GenAi stop that.

Tonight I’m watching 2006 Miami Vice for the first time. Damn this film has some fantastic night time scenes and has a real look and just starts with zero build up just right into it like you know everyone and that’s refreshing to me.
