Saw The Housemaid last night and it was exactly the movie I needed to see last night. (I do think there was a 90 minute version of this 130 minute movie that absolutely ripped so much harder but beggars choosers etc.)

This was good. It’s a set of tricks—dense plotting, quick hit chapters ending in cliffhangers, etc—but they’re damn effective.
Forgot to file this one here the other day and now I’m already like halfway through it; been a hot minute since I’ve dived into a pure page turner like this I guess.
