The DC shooter is a man whose work *for the United States* drove him crazy from guilt. That work, conducted at the direction of *our* CIA, allegedly involved murdering civilians. So for Trump to now say that the DC shooting confirms that *Afghans* categorically have shitty values is.... beyond vile.

Trump’s stated justification for every single one of his despicable pardons of multiple drug traffickers, wealthy fraudsters, people who beat up cops, cronies, violent criminals, and politically connected Republicans is always the same: “I heard they were treated very unfairly.”

Hegseth needs to be in jail for the rest of his life, and that’s the moderate option.
Exclusive: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave an order to “kill everybody” in the first strike on suspected drug boats in the Caribbean. After two men survived, the mission commander ordered a second strike to comply with Hegseth’s instructions, according to two sources.

I would call Pete Hegseth a war criminal, but we aren’t at war. He’s just a mass murderer.

When asked about the death of a W. Virginia National Guardsman, the President of the United States bragged about his electoral margin in her state.

When asked about the shooter, he called the reporter a stupid person.

Please stop holding quarter for anyone supporting this monstrous piece of shit.

Dems for decades have been saying supporting the troops means: 1) not putting them in harm's way unnecessarily, and 2) taking care of them when they return to civilian life, but "somehow" Republicans still are called the Real Troop Supporters.

It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

We’re already hearing about Watergate level crimes every week. Imagine what will come out after it’s over.

We’re going to need a full accounting of all that’s been done in violation of the constitution.

Sad but true. #EndCitizensUnited
Marjorie Taylor Greene was a direct product of #CitizensUnited. She was drafted, funded and paid fealty because that was what she was paid to do. What's really crazy is that long after she is gone the power of #CitizensUnited will go on.

How embarrassing for Chuck Schumer, Kirstin Gillibrand, Cory Booker, & NY Reps Grace Meng, Dan Goldman, Ritchie Torres, Greg Meeks, Tom Suozzi, & Laura Gillen, that even Donald Trump endorsed Zohran Mamdani before they did.😐

Corporate Democrats just love snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

It’s fun to think about the surgeon who will botch your surgery 20 years from now and what he’s doing at this moment. He just ran all his homework through ChatGPT. He just read that article about vaccines and autism at the CDC website. He just watched an Instagram video about the moon landing hoax.

After doing everything they could to block release of the Epstein files, Republicans don't suddenly get to claim to value justice or accountability just because Trump wants to engineer a thin patina of false innocence. We know what's going on, we're keeping score, and we won't forget.

Once T was in office, the immediate destruction of every aspect of our federal gov’t was apparent to anyone paying attention, no? Glad they’re reporting it, but it’s hardly shocking to read about it 10 mos. later.
i'd say it did. the public put a group of thieves, vandals and extremists in office last november and they promptly went about destroying everything that might work to limit their ability to loot, steal and inflicting pain on the people they hate
This whole NYT account about the weaponization of DOJ is beyond disturbing. Kinda feels like the US government fell in January.

We’re learning none of these familiar faces that moderate these conversations and anchor these shows ever had any journalistic integrity.

It was only about money, ratings, and increasing ad revenue.

It was never about objectivity, reporting, or speaking truth to power.

Just greed and more greed.
