Well, I played my first ever game of Classic BattleTech (with a veteran friend).
My initial thoughts:
It's nowhere near as complex as I thought it'd be. The hexes make movement & ranges simple and precise. The mech record sheets are intuitive. The double-sided card with all the tables is great.
