I have my issues with UVA (as one who works and is a grad student at another major state university w/ academic medical center and who attended a smaller private university in the state), but my god - talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.

A thread of things I’ve learned now that I’m 50.
1: You should never lay out in the sun or in a tanning bed to work on your tan. Looking like a raisin at 40 will matter more than you think. And also think of your poor dermatologist who has to take pictures every year of all of those moles.
