Aside from the cruelty of this, I’d just like to know why it’s ok to ignore and disappoint liberal/progressive voters.
Why do governments chase Farage and his voters, thinking that will neutralise them. It’s NEVER worked. He’s leading in the polls and his ideas have ruined us. WTF are you doing?
This is as bad as anything proposed by Reform.

Leaving refugees in permanent limbo and unable to build a new life in the UK would be a complete abdication of our humanitarian responsibilities

Shabana Mahmood is expected to say the era of permanent protection for refugees is over, in major changes to the UK's asylum and immigration system.

The alienation of young people can be blamed on Covid, phones and much else. But those are exacerbations. The real cause is rent exploitation in all its forms. It is neoliberalism that is destroying the lives of young people. And that is why it has to go. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/11...

The collapse of the UK was hastened by Brexit, but it's been coming for a long time. Destroy the public sector and hand over water, energy etc to the profiteers. Then, as Starmer is doing, flog off the rest of the UK to billionaires. Started with Thatcher. It's called #Neoliberalism. Read this!

Its grim people.

It will get grimmer.

The budget will be abhorrent for a struggling nation. A work of nonsense as Richard explains here.

Buckle up. We have five yr olds in charge.
Labour Party has zero credibility but its leader and cabinet have even less!!
How can Rachel Reeves deliver a Budget when the government is collapsing? www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/11... You cannot deliver a credible Budget from a government that has already lost its coherence, as this one would appear to have done

Saddled with debt, working shit jobs for shit money. A grim rentier future of virtual slavery lies ahead for many of them.

Exploited. Not represented. Climate change.

Its refreshing to see this.
