Hello #WarhammerCommunity I thought I’d introduce myself after being on Bluesky long enough! I’m Chris and I paint the odd 40K Chaos Marine stuff along with some wastelands and daemon world terrain. Bit of Sector Mechanicus too but it’s all just basic tabletop standard etc.

I managed to glue some bits together for my sector mechanicus terrain project but annoyingly I didn’t glue it symmetrically with another piece I did last week. Grand scheme of things it’s a drop in the ocean but to me it’s very irritating 😆

Experimenting with creating physical cloth texture by lightly cross-hatching with a scalpel.
I'll of course do the same cross-hatching with my brush when painting, but hopefully this will help sell the cloth effect even more.

Thats right! The 90’s space cacti has returned. Simple polystyrene balls covered in textured paint with cocktail sticks, painted with Contrast paint (for ease) they’ll go along side the other retro terrain.
