Happy US Thanksgiving! And may whatever you choose to eat today be nothing like this.
Chili Cheese Turkey | Reynolds Brands
This recipe takes its inspiration from one of the nation's most indulgent hot dog styles for a juicy, flavorful turkey.

@celebrityhottub.bsky.social I really don’t like doing this publicly, but I am a Phantom Island supporter who cannot get the supporter-only podcast episodes to show up in my feed. The Falcon Scott website offers no contact information for supporters. Will you please help?

Flies in the face of the administration’s assertion that “of course it’s routine to fire artillery over an interstate.”
An artillery shell fired during 250th anniversary celebration of the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton on Saturday detonated prematurely over Interstate 5, damaging a California Highway Patrol vehicle on JD Vance's security detail www.nytimes.com/2025/10/19/u...

@kendylhanks.bsky.social See this thread for more details. I’m assuredly not a fan of the Qatari government, but to imply a direct quid pro quo for the Qatari “Air Force One” isn’t really supported here.
offhand the Germans have had a contingent here for decades to do flying training (left in 19), the Singaporeans permanently do F-15s at Mountain Home, F-16s in AZ (so do the Taiwanese), and will soon do F-35s in Arkansas

Temp training includes Iraqi, UAE, Dutch, ROK, Ukraine, and a bunch of others
We trained Iraqi F-16 pilots in AZ too. Part of our theater security cooperation program; and tied to Iraq’s purchase of 32 aircraft, last of which (IIRC) were delivered in 2019.

I have returned to work after my injury. Professional adulting is hard! I have to wake up early, wear pants, be sober, and say/write things that make sense. The struggle is real.

“THE SUN SETS in the west (just about everyone knows that), but Sunset Towers faced east. Strange!” Congress has not authorized the use of military force.
Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Congress has not authorized the use of military force.
We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold. Congress has not authorized the use of military force.

This is the closest I’ve seen to a verifiable position on the Kirk assassin.
You're going to see a lot of "he's a violent antifascist leftist" and "he's a groyper" but the core of Tyler Robinson's motivation is almost certainly that he's an online-poisoned idiot gamer.

The last name of the Yankees’ starting pitcher is “Schlittler.” If I were announcing the game I’d be terrified of a horrible mispronunciation all night long.

Last night at the Myrtle Beach Pelicans game was a splendid time indeed! The Bat Dog and the Shark Race outshone the performance of the home team, who lost 4-1 to the mighty Columbia Fireflies.

Just because something is classified doesn’t mean it’s interesting.
Common knowledge in your field but shocks others?

Marketing “professionals” often have no clue what they’re doing and have to have basic concepts and ideas explained to them
