I wasn't able to get a pic of him doing it, but this morning my favorite grumpy shelter feral who hasn't let anyone touch him in over 10 years nosebooped my thumb. So I'm feeling pretty good about that. 😄

The most common thing I say when photographing sanctuary animals is “hello sweetheart!” but that is closely followed by “oh no baby please don’t eat my camera/hair/gloves/pants/boots/etc.”

I’m grateful that my fingers and face didn’t freeze off during my sunset walk. I’m trying somewhat unsuccessfully to stay present and enjoy the last few weeks of a sane, capable and kind President at the helm. It’s quite a challenge, but I do know that today I am ok. Goodnight blue friends!

I’m grateful that my fingers and face didn’t freeze off during my sunset walk. I’m trying somewhat unsuccessfully to stay present and enjoy the last few weeks of a sane, capable and kind President at the helm. It’s quite a challenge, but I do know that today I am ok. Goodnight blue friends!
