Hello! I'm Sarah (Gryph) and I work in an animal shelter. My partner and I own four cats, used to have a dog, and we TNR in our neighborhood. This account is mostly cat pics, as self care and because that is the candle I hold in the darkness. ❤️ Also occasional gaming and book talk. 🙂

I almost always lurk in MMOs, but my character is Gryph Rashkae if anyone sees me ingame. Warning that I am a VERY solo MMO player tho - I'm like a feral cat who sometimes likes humans in my general vicinity but will rarely communicate or participate. xD
Welp, I've invested some cosmetic money into the free to play game, watched a stream for drops, and redone my character's face a couple times after starting. These things usually mean I'm actually for real playing the thing, at least for a while. (Palia) Ofc I'm a cat witch with a witch cat. Duh.

Listening to a YT video where the person is ranking all the episodes of The X-files. I'm not someone who believes you always "had to be there" to appreciate a tv show, but hearing them talk about some of the season finales/season premieres...I'm sure they do hit different not waiting months between.

We had 4 ten day old kittens come in this morning, and a couple pregnant cats. 😭 None of the cats here are getting the memo that kitten season is supposed to be over.

I haven't had a chance to sort them all yet, but a pic of one of my special friends at the cat sanctuary. Willow is very old, and they think he's a bit senile. Usually I have to bring treats to him on his throne (pillow). But this time he came right to me and wanted his tribute. ❤️

Cat sanctuary visit today, with multiple bags of treats and toys. ❤️ I don't know when I'll have time to start sorting through pictures, but here's proof that I am definitely my mother's daughter, lol. We're in the enclosure with the semi ferals in this one. 🙂

Have a Chessie debating if she can forgive me for the Betrayal of allowing Another Human on the porch. She actually did pretty well. When she first realized there was another human, she bolted off the porch - but she came back later for treats, while Mom was giving treats to Calvin.

Nash has been streaming the SIlent Hill 2 remake - his first time playing a SH game. I got back from dropping Mom off at her hotel, and when I walked in the house, the first thing I hear is, "I HATE BEING IN SILENT HILL!!!!!" so he's responding correctly. 😄

I achieved the impossible validation today. Cashier at the grocery store legit thanked me for having my food sorted by frozen/cold/etc. It can happen! 😂 A+ on groceries today, go me.

In the interest of doing something other than cleaning for three days, I started poking around in Palia. Forgive me not requesting a friend code from anyone, it was an impulsive 1am decision last night lol. Haven't gotten very far, but it's cute.

Chessie has once again claimed the best spot on the porch, and she will fight ALL OF YOU to keep it.
(Yearly reminder that we have an enclosed porch we further wrap with plastic in the winter, and I live in SC. Our actual outdoor cat houses are all filled with straw - no towels, blankets, etc.)
