With everything going on in the world right now, my nervous system is shot. Tonight’s sunset provided a much needed blast of serenity. I am reminded that despite the current ugliness we are witnessing, beauty still exists. 💙

It has been so cold on the beach this winter. Still, I’m always so happy once I’m out there. It’s all about smart clothing choices 😂

Lol, I take these on the beach of one of Long Island’s barrier islands less than an hour from Manhattan. There are beach clubs here and they plant palm trees every summer which of course, but sadly die every winter. In the winter, the sun sets over the water, and the beach itself faces south. 😊
