Legitimately sad I couldn't buy the dinnerware I've been coveting at half price because I'm autistic about bowls, brains are weird

My pharmacy uses Doordash as their delivery provider, my grocery store uses UberEats. I have to use these stores due to location & poverty. Stop hassling disabled people about shit we have no control over; put that energy into creating more ethical options. I am so, so sick of seeing this discourse.

Giving someone the gift of food being significantly less upsetting to deal with is a great feeling
🎁 For this holiday season, consider gifting COLOR TASTE TEXTURE! It’s a great primer for people of all ages with little to no experience cooking. If you have some neurodivergent friends and family, or parents of littles, they might love this! It’s not just a cookbook, it’s a new approach to food. 🎁
I’m an Autistic classically trained chef and I wrote a food aversion acceptance cookbook and guide titled COLOR TASTE TEXTURE, that’s all about finding out what works for specific sensory needs and how to customize food for them. It’s useful for all ages, no cooking experience necessary.

Hire a licensed asbestos removalist to get rid of the asbestos we've been breathing in for the last 6 years because privatising social housing is an elaborate bureaucratic nightmare of a scam lolsob
Honest question: If everyone got Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, what would YOU do with it?

Stop wasting money on getting dragged through courts and tribunals for withholding support to which people are lawfully entitled via programs like social security, the NDIS, etc. Lawyers aren't cheap and the return on investment is good for productivity.

It's very annoying that Black Friday has turned into a whole ass month.

@albomp.bsky.social's @australianlabor.bsky.social are a pack of flogs running the same privatisation scams as the Coalition, even after the consultancy "ban". What was the point in electing them when they're just going to keep doing the same things?

Weird choice of headline but a good bit on the benefits of compulsory preferential voting in the Washminster system and our trajectory towards minority governments forcing parliamentary transparency from belligerent party leaders.

Australians have made the Senate the government's worst nightmare
For most of our federation's history, the two-party system has been an efficient organiser of the population. That has all changed.

It has been deeply unsettling watching Albo's Labor become the conservative party in place of the Coalition who have departed for the weird far right
“Labor, in seeking to be the “natural party of government” as Anthony Albanese likes to say, has sacrificed its duality. The political party is separate from the movement that underpinned it.”
