In case folks forgot what happened, Khashoggi entered a Saudi consulate in Istanbul to get a document so he could get married while his fiancée waited outside. He never left because he was murdered and dismembered with a bone saw inside the building. The US intel community said MBS ordered it.

Just got my flu and covid vaccine at my local walk in clinic, uninsured for $44 all together.
They needed a vaccine record and all I had on my was my HPV vaccine record from my gyno and they counted it.
It’s okay to get it now if you still need it. Some protection is better than none

This is why Democrats should be promising to rain apocalyptic hellfire down on any institutions that capitulate to Trump. So long as capitulation is seen as low risk, it's very easy for institutions to do!
I do wonder how much of the capitulation is a calculation that the next administration will immediately tear up these agreements. So it’s cheaper to comply for a few years to avoid the cost of litigation and suspension of funds.
One reason why elite schools (Columbia, Brown, Cornell) caving to Trump’s illegal impoundment and extortion is so galling — a betrayal, really — is that they would have won had they fought. By giving up, they guaranteed every other school will have to fight harder.
