“We’re here peacefully protesting, looking as ridiculous as we can, just so maybe we appeal to the president because he’s a ridiculous leader that is normalizing abuse of power. And we cannot stand and act like nothing is happening.” 🦄

No one rides the trains, they're too packed
Sean Duffy: "The truth is, transit across America is dangerous. And these liberals -- liberal mayors -- they want everybody out of cars and into trains but they made the trains unsafe so nobody really wants to ride them ... even big men don't want to ride the subway at those times of night."

How San Ramon teenager Enzo Wu is using speedrunning BART to “spread the gospel of transit” to other teens⬇️

He believes he’s “converted” at least a dozen friends directly and dozens more indirectly, thanks to people who watch his speedrun videos and livestreams.

a very funny eye opening experience many people have had about how the cops actually operate is this "hey i have a tracking beacon on this stolen item that shows exactly where it is can you arrest the guy who stole it?" and the cops go like "lol no that sounds like a lot of work"
I spoke w/ a woman whose home was burgled after she evacuated. There's an Apple AirTag in one of the stolen bags, but police told her that due to the fires, they don't have resources to track it down. It's a whole new challenge for police (w/ @liborjany): www.latimes.com/california/s...
