Finally a world champion

That’s a good idea. They should add something to the app that indicates I want them to go slow

I hate taking uber for this reason. I'm not trying to get to my destination as fast as possible, I'm just trying to survive getting there

I saw something about changing demographics in my city? Seemed like a way to generate heated discussion so I scrolled away quickly

It’s even worse when they don’t come out to the curb unless they see a car in the pickup space so you end up waiting forever
November 16, 2025 at 7:45 PM
Yeah but what if one day there are aliens that are allergic to water? Then all those half-empty glasses sitting around could come in handy
November 14, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Yep, even smaller towns here on the West Coast closed streets and had outdoor patios for a short time before taking them all down. We had walkable downtowns for a brief period

Been looking forward to these improvements since I moved here a few years ago. Hope this meeting moves it forward!

This makes me think of Vanmoof, where you had proprietary components that could only be serviced by that company. We all know how that worked out
October 22, 2025 at 9:51 PM
Ah no you see, they also revealed an ebike, in addition to Also revealing an ebike
October 22, 2025 at 9:25 PM
Ah, I didn't consider that SB79 would mean we'd have to fight harder for bus stops now too
October 22, 2025 at 4:51 PM
Fair enough. I just think it’s getting large enough that they should march in the street rather than having people try to drive through it all
October 18, 2025 at 11:39 PM
Ask anyone trying to drive through downtown today whether it was busy or not
October 18, 2025 at 11:05 PM
How long before that guy starts asking for a cut of your profits
October 15, 2025 at 9:38 PM
Hmm that's a new one I haven't seen, that (ULTRA) high density housing is being torn down across the country? But I thought it was also being FORCED DOWN OUR THROATS
October 8, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Wonder if it could play out like:
City nearly bankrupts itself fighting housing
Housing gets built and adds more tax income
City refills coffers to fight future housing projects
October 2, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Been wanting the black sheep tattoo for a long time now
September 28, 2025 at 8:15 PM
Chevelle SS and a Model A? Those are my guesses
September 20, 2025 at 3:59 AM
And while you’re waiting for the red lights you have to stare at that ugly new “luxury” apartment building going up
September 18, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Walnut Creek seems to be where everyone shops in the east bay now. It's busy every weekend and there are constantly new restaurants opening.
September 15, 2025 at 11:13 PM
That’s crazy, it’s a story about a non existent housing project. What are we even doing here
September 4, 2025 at 3:31 PM
Ohh I think I saw the same AC Transit bus in the first picture at a Cars and Coffee event a year ago. Got to talk to the guy who bought it and restored it.

Basically drivers expect to be able to drift out of their lane without any consequences. They’ve been babied by traffic engineers for too long
