Calling the press “fake news” is harmful. Calling them “seditious, perhaps even treasonous” for publishing reporting is something else entirely. Treason is a capital crime. Suggesting journalists should face it for exercising their First Amendment rights and doing their jobs is dangerous.

So proud of my little therapy dog today. We visited the autism support class in a local school and she was great.

This should be the footnote in every story, every time he brings it up.

The facts are the facts.
Fact check:

It was not rigged.

It was not stolen.

A majority of the electorate choose not to re-elect him after his first term.

In turn, he launched an unprecedented effort to remain in power and defy the results.

It failed.
Trump: "It was a rigged election. It's gonna come out over the next couple months too, loud and clear. Because we have all the information."

Hello from a radiology unit’s packed waiting room where they are running 60+ minutes late. I am wearing a mask because we are packed cheek by jowl and several folks are coughing and sneezing all over.

I hear people on all sides of the issue say “ #Healthcare in America is “broken”

It’s not “broken” if has never worked.

Better terms might be:
Flawed
disfunctional
predatory
corrupt
cruel

I'll never understand how so many people got conned into hating the idea of universal healthcare.
Say you pay 20% more in taxes.
Your employer pays you more because no insurance.
You never see a doctor, lab or out of network specialist bill again.
You have a low copay for drugs.
Isn't that worth it?

In my town there's a family owned HVAC company that will say "yep, it's old. Runs good. Keep maintaining it, and it'll keep running." Protect these people at all costs.

Hedge fund owned HVAC company is obnoxious about "this could blow any second. you're on borrowed time."

“Kids. Where’s dad?”
“Outside.”
“Why?” (It’s windy & 40.)
“Just..let him be. He ordered a new extension cord for his leaf blower and he’s excited about it.”

Reporters who fact-check Trump to his face are not “stupid”, they are not “piggies”, and they are not “ugly”. They are doing their jobs, and doing it under pressure most of us will never experience.

We should be grateful for their service. I appreciate their courage now more than ever.

“Mom. I want to express my gratitude that we are not a turkey trot family.”

If anyone is keeping track, today is the first day my kid has looked out the window and said, "hey look at that weird van. Do you think it's ICE?"

I may be sucked into a black hole but I'm sure going to raise hell about it on the way in.

Here is my peace plan for Ukraine/Russia.

1. Russia gets the fuck out of Ukraine.

2. Putin goes on trial in the Hague.

3. Russia pays everyone for everything.

4. Trump gets impeached, convicted, and sent to jail.

Thanks for your attention to this matter.

I still can't believe that the man who bragged about grabbing women by the pussy; who explained to camera how hard his cognitive screening test for Alzheimers was; who encouraged the assassination of his own vice president is still legally at liberty, let alone being president of the United States.

Asking all my kids the same question. “Hey. I’m going to buy a turkey at the farm tomorrow. If they are out of processed turkeys and all they sell me a live one, would you help me kill it?”

My eldest child is helping my youngest write a fictional rough draft and it’s giving me life.

“You have the freedom of the entire universe. Make your main character funny. Make him break rules. Make him a hopscotch champion if you want and then write all about what goes on there.”

When people are forced to choose between paying rent, feeding their family, or seeing a doctor, our society has failed.

We need a system that guarantees universal access because life and health are not negotiable.

Anything less is injustice dressed up as policy.

When a sitting president calls for death to lawmakers, it’s not a warning sign, it’s the emergency siren. He is talking like a dictator and telling you exactly how he plans to use his power.

This is how democracies fall and how dictatorships begin.

If you are an architect and you design a hospital SO confusing that a team of volunteers is obliged to hand out single-spaced 11-step directions on double sided flyers explaining how to get to the mammogram center, you're doing it wrong.

No one “deserves” to starve or be denied healthcare.

The richest country in the world can easily provide for all, and people shouldn’t have to prove they matter to be fed, housed & cared for.

It’s past time for a universal basic income, universal healthcare, affordable housing & food.
