So proud of my little therapy dog today. We visited the autism support class in a local school and she was great.

We sure make it hard to be a poor person in this country.
A sign: if your child is here for their annual well visit and you have additional problems or complaints addressed you may be billed your copay or deductible as per your insurance coverage.

Paging #quilt friends. Is this a typo? Should the highlighted word be *triangles*? The graphic is showing triangles not diamonds. It’s not on a fold.

Also I preached my fat quarters against instructions.
A set of quilt pattern directions says “continue sliding the ruler down to cut 6 diamonds from each strip for a total of 72 (12, 150, 216) triangles” The illustration shows triangles not diamonds. I highlighted the word diamonds.

Say hello to my first ever blooming #quilt square featuring this little bird, previously confined to the scraps bin
Several nesting layers of fabric “bloom” outward from the center. In the middle is a teal bird on a purple background. The next layer out is beige. After that it’s blue paisley then yellow triangles framing. The outermost layer is teal paisley that kind of highlights the bird. The fabric patch is pinned to a beige surface. It’s probably 3 inches by 3 inches.

This little sweetie did so well in therapy dog class. She wasn’t scared of a wheelchair and she sat in a stranger’s lap for quite a while. She didn’t want to leave when the task was over.

A square quilt top has parallel lines around the edges of the 5 inch squares. The squares are blue, green, and teal with patterns of forest animals, leaves, or texture. A few squares of yellow have bees on them for contrast.
