The federal government defines a “reasonable distance” as 100 air miles from any external boundary of the U.S
A federal law says that, without a warrant, CBP can board vehicles and vessels and search for people without immigration documentation.

I want to say this: In almost all cases, negative coverage does not result in sales, but results in negativity. Controversy does not, mostly, sell books. Book bans work to ban books. All the bad things that people say and do about other people and their works ends up hurting those people.

The other thing that's nice about posting to a new platform is that it makes you realize just how much art you've made over time. I don't love all of it but I think it's hard to appreciate your own output in the moment
