Have I been unable to pay five dollars for a non essential item like a PDF/book/print/etc? Yes, for years. Would i ever in my wildest dreams have called the person asking for five dollars a class traitor/deserving of being stolen from? NO!!!! IM NOT AN ASSHOLE !!!!

P much all the pro piracy arguments I’ve seen today only apply to big studios/corporations/etc. You can’t use that same logic or moral reasoning with an individual artist/writer/etc. It makes me think of you as entitled SOWWY!!! SOWWY BOUT THAT

I once asked a bookseller at a large indie store how many people would have to buy a book for it to get the attention of the store buyer and cause an additional order and they said: Three.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
