Who put together the detailed plans behind the dismemberment of so many US Gov departments so quickly? They had to have been done with extensive prior knowledge and required a lot of work.

The early days of Covid showed us that if the government wanted - they could take care of everyone. They could provide a universal basic income, accommodate the needs of disabled people who had been pleading for remote healthcare & other services for years. They could keep us fed, safe and housed

Brief thread on how we got here: Since the GOP won control of the House 2 years ago they have not passed a single appropriations package into law. Government has operated at funding levels set by Dems 2 years ago via continuing resolutions every few months. This is not normal.
