This is an unfinished thought, but I strongly believe that the TikTok era was a fast-forward political & social education of the people by the people. It brought conversations long needed about history & identity zipping around the planet, so effectively that other platforms had to follow suit.

Centrist/Moderate is great branding because it implies reasonableness but there's nothing reasonable about stubbornly clinging to pro-business and pro-upper class politics when the country is falling apart. This is an ideology like any other, and it's a bad one

My main job for the past almost 15 years has had me outside in every kind of weather, pretty much every day of the year. If I've ever seen it rain as hard as it's raining now in New York city, it hasn't been more than once or twice IF THAT. Wow.
