'What is that supposed to mean? That the law is obsolete in the face of a white supremacist sexual exploitation material-generating machine?'

It's the first column of the new year and it's grimmer than ever before, my friends.

Ireland's only supervised injection centre has just secured permanent planning permission.

It's good news for Dubliners - now we need to see these facilities spread to anywhere where there is a drug injection problem.

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)
Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.

All I can think of this Christmas is that last Christmas, between 70,000 and 120,000 Palestinians were alive that have since been murdered by Israel's genocide. Over half of them were children. That's 500 to 1,000 children murdered per week. Or 82 during a four hour Christmas evening.

The problem with housing is not building enough social housing, allowing vulture funds control and take over the market and property and land be hoarded. Thousands of houses in unfinished estates because FF screwed the economy etc etc etc. NOT asylum seekers, a very small number of people.
