They’re actually redacting Trump’s name AFTER the release.
🚨 The DOJ appears to have redacted Donald Trump’s name from the allegations made in this exhibit in the Epstein files.

Trump’s name was in the original release. Now, it’s blacked out.

See for yourself.

A holiday miracle! 11 days ago Millie, introduced to me by her mom Teddy 2 yrs ago, went missing. Yesterday the snow here melted, revealing a dead squirrel in the gutter up the street. I figured...y'know. But this morning Millie came bounding up for almonds. She's fine. Maybe had some babies? TBD!

Part of me wants to see what happens when a bunch of Trump megafans take their luxury yachts with the MAGA flags and try to interdict actual cartel operations.
Flagrant violations of international law aside, what a hilarious admission of weakness from a senator who oversees a bloated military better funded than the next three superpowers combined.

Coming back to this, I'm still struck by the implication that academics should care if the AI pushers "trust" all our work that's done without AI.

I don't know, man, you all seemed to trust our work enough to steal it from us wholesale.
I would struggle to trust an academic who doesn‘t know how to
use AI tools.
Which is not the same as not being critical.

Canada is launching a new initiative to pull top scientists & doctors away from the U.S. as Trump targets H-1B visa holders. Dr. Bobby Mukkamala (@ama-assn.org ) says physicians may think to themselves, “‘I'm going to go to Canada because it's going to be a welcome mat instead of a bill.’” #Velshi
Canadian initiative aims to scoop top talent from U.S. Will it work?
As the Trump administration cracks down on immigration and guts science research funding, Canada has launched an initiative to attract top scientists and highly-skilled H-1B visa holders away from the U.S. This comes after the Trump administration slapped $100,000 fees on new H-1B visas, which has an outsized impact on health care sector workers. Dr. Bobby Mukkamala says physicians are likely to go to Canada “because it's going to be a welcome mat instead of a bill.” However, former U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Cohen says of Canada’s new initiatives: “I don't see them moving the needle in a significant way.”

Antitrust enforcement weakens under Trump
President Trump calls America’s affordability crisis a “hoax,” but two recent legal cases that have come to light suggest his administration may be fueling it. Critics say antitrust enforcement has weakened under Trump, resulting in higher prices for millions of Americans consumers. Former FTC chair Lina Khan goes further and accuses the administration of “handing out special favors to corporate lawbreakers.”

Cupich is hated by the American right, Francis's old enemies. Hicks is Cupich's man. Installing Hicks now is not only a statement of intent but strength.
As much as the Church does not like to acknowledge the political nature of its internal maneuverings, sir, Pope Leo left no doubt about his intent here, did he lol

I watched Dolan introducing Hicks. Dolan was Dolan. He is good at that stuff. But he said nothing specific, only that Hicks is "immensely qualified." Hicks looked somewhat overwhelmed, but his first statement was that he grew up 14 blocks from the Pope's childhood home. All that needs to be said.

Honestly, it’s the perfect role for a VP. They’re usually the more partisan one and they usually need something to do.

Imagine the joy of Tim Walz in a hard hat, behind the wheel of a wrecking ball
There's a series of things (like the ballroom, Gulf of America) that we're going to have to *undo* the moment this guy is out of office.
And yet I can already hear future Democrat presidents saying "I'm focused on the people's work, not the knucklehead stuff" and just leave this man's shit up.
