NOTHING will prepare you for this 45-second story arc. From "I'm just doing this because I love the flag, it's totally grassroots, and I'm not part of anything political"... to who actually gave him the flags the night before.

Anyone who believes it is an innocent movement needs to see this.

The easiest way to get rich is to tell people a lie they want to hear.

This is also a pretty good way to get elected to public office.

Well done to the broadcasters who have spent so long doing the PR for the far right in this country - I hope you won’t pretend it was nothing to do with your valiant efforts if we get a far right government- it is important that your contribution is remembered

The Prime Minister imitating Enoch Powell’s ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech is sickening.

That speech fuelled decades of racism and division. Echoing it today is a disgrace. It adds to anti-migrant rhetoric that puts lives at risk.

Shame on you, Keir Starmer.

Linking academic skills to societal value is a direct contradiction to a fair and equal society. Describing, and not allowing, people working in the social, hospitality and services sectors as “low skilled” will do immeasurable harm to these areas.

Economically: the UK only has ANY kind of GDP growth because of immigration, so ...

The only reason lay people bear the burden of cuts is cause they're practically and legally the least able to do anything about it. You tax the rich, they move money around, sell stuff, put things in their spouses name etc If the DWP says you get less Universal Credit, that's it. You can't do nuffin

Shocking to see such ministerial complacency in the face of risk that our fragile democracy is further undermined. The issue of reforming party funding was in Labour’s manifesto & they should act now, before what little trust is left is totally destroyed
