If she does end up retiring, I feel a lot better about our chances to win Maine no matter who the nominee is. Both candidates are weak but they could probably beat a non-incumbent Republican.
Retirement or no? Guesses? Collins did a fundraiser last month and her PAC has $5.6M, but they always fundraise until the last second. Shaheen, Peters, Tillis, et al were raising money until the end too.
