Newsom: The trade war that Trump has just launched—because there will be a reaction, and there already has been—will be felt in profound ways by average people including those who voted for Donald Trump, those who were betrayed by this very administration.

Sens. Chuck Grassley and Maria Cantwell just introduced a bill to reassert Congress's power over tariffs.

The Trade Review Act of 2025 says a president must notify Congress about new tariffs within 48 hours of imposition. It requires Congress to approve them within 60 days or they expire.

Says he’s heard from constituents worried about the tariffs, esp farmers & restaurant/lodging sectors.

The whole point is to ruin farms…a fire sale on farmland that can be sold to corporate farms who can pollute the water and air with impunity.

There will be no one left in these communities to demand these corporations be regulated or pay taxes.
Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ?

Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?

This is why it’s important to record, broadcast and share these abductions whenever possible.

As in BLM, the disconnect between what “most Americans” think is happening and what is actually being done in their name is severe.

But when it finally breaks through, the effects will be significant.
