Hey, for anyone who needs it today, I bought dividers and organized our utensil drawer. I also made labels for the tops of my spices. Next week: the battery and charger drawer!

Me: I’m so hungry! Maybe I shouldn’t have had only buttered toast for breakfast.

<Looks around my office, finds a mini cucumber, hummus, half a clamshell of raspberries, and three (!) apples>

Me: Why is there never any FOOD in my office?

🤣

My kid’s band just won Cary Band Day! And my other kid won his flag football Super Bowl today! A good day for the whole family.

I want another cat. This Saturday is the last weekend of several kid activities, should I go for it? I just want to be home more. Although we have one cat already so they can keep each other company if we are at activities.

did anyone have side effects from the C0vid vax this year? My whole fam got Moderna (and flu) shots yesterday and we all feel crappy today. Headaches and chills. It started for the kids and me about 11 hours later and my husband this morning.

Baby’s first active shooter scare ✅

I am a mess, everyone is ok and my son is sitting here in my office totally fine AND YET.

(He ran off campus and called me and kept his friends calm and I'm so proud but why do we have to live like this???)

Wooo Scott’s marching band got 7 trophies tonight at the 1st competition, including Reserve Grand Champions. So proud of my barely 3A band.

So, I need pizza math, but for a law firm lunch and learn thing. 17 adults, but 4 probably won't eat anything or much due to hours and history so I'm thinking 5 pizzas plus salad and maybe wings/garlic bread?

Yesterday I said "waylaid" at work and the two employees I was speaking to had never heard that word before. Men, about 25 and 30 respectively. They asked if it was a northern or Midwestern thing??

I've been meaning to help 11yo go through his t-shirts to donate etc. He threw out 6, gave 11 to his sister (anything pink or from her school) and donated 20. He got rid of 37 t-shirts. THIRTY SEVEN.

After fb games, the marching band goes to a local ice cream place en masse. I'm sitting by myself just taking in the vibes and it's very nice. (I am with the band, I might feel differently if I was a poor civilian that just got overwhelmed by 50 young nerds)

I’m drowning in Activities. Help. We have marching band, archery, and Kindergarten rn but flag football starts this weekend and golf (x2 kids) and swim lessons start the week after that.

My parents have 2 sour cherry trees. They produced nothing last year because it kept frosting, but this year they are making up for lost time. Dad’s been picking 6-8 cups of cherries A DAY. That’s more than a whole pie every day. I can’t wait for them to be foisted on us later this summer!

15 yo convinced us to sign him up for a go karting camp this week that's only 1/2 day but still costs way more than full day camps. It was a last hurrah, maybe last camp ever sort of thing.

The only time I've stayed overnight is for the births of my kids, so I imagine I was the room that kept sending their baby back to the nursery. 😂
if you've ever stayed at a hospital overnight did the nurses have a nickname for you

Our 11yo has had 3 adult teeth taken out today. Trying to do Tooth Fairy Math. Generally, our TF give a $2 bill, but takes into account trauma and suffering. Is there a cap since these are adult teeth? Am I going to owe this kid a twenty?

What’s it like to be an 11yo, absolutely blindsided by the need to do laundry every week?
