At least I do my job up in this rumpus.

Seconding this! My kids get teeny summer sausages and the cutest mini jars of Nutella. And I get smoked salmon pate or something else fancy there.

Yeah our tree before this one was a $100 target deal where we used extra lights to keep it from being see-through. This one was our Grown Up Tree. And it’s beautiful! If only I could look at it without thinking of the trouble. 🤷‍♀️

Yup at least one other person was going through it at the same time as me years ago.

Gave them a second chance and ordered a wreath for our office and they fucked that up too. The wreath didn’t exist? Despite being available to order on their site? They shipped me a garland that somehow had the same item number? Anyway NEVER AGAIN no more chances

Long story but a section didn’t light when I got it and they gave me SUCH a run around about it. It took weeks and came down to having to order AND PAY FOR another gajillion dollar tree and wait for the old one to be picked up and credited, etc. Tree is still beautiful, but the memory ruins it.

I have a Bal$am Hill (thanks I hate it and them) and this year it wouldn’t work the second day we plugged it in. Surprise! We forgot the outlet in that corner is on a switch 😅 I had my tirade allllll ready to go.

I was shocked to look at my numbers and basically all of my deep sleep happens before midnight, 1 at the latest. I started going to bed earlier and am furious that it helped.

I cooked those earlier this week! It’s 9 min. All the Costco ones are either 9 or 11. 😆 can you tell my kid lives off of buttered noodles?

It only took us *checks notes* since 2012 to organize! 😆 I am controlling what I can control, I think.

Graham crackers? Chocolate syrup or shavings.

Bacon is definitely what you’re looking for. I think Babish roasts them flat side down with bacon strips on top (so the bacon fat drips onto the sprouts) and then crumbles the bacon on top with an acidic dressing?

You could use washi or masking tape to outline in case something moves in the future!

I bought our firm a label maker. It lives in my office. I label the stupidest things. I love it so much.

I cooked my 6yo some ramen last night, and then ate almost all of it.

I mean, it’s not the same, but it *is* driving with pedals and a steering wheel etc. so it was more of a comfort-behind-the-wheel thing. He thinks he’s invincible now, all of like 9 months later?

My kid drove in church, half dead mall, and school parking lots a few times, not on “real” roads. I think his grandparents let him drive their cars a couple of times, but he was pretty well-versed in driving golf carts and tractors by then

My cell phone is one digit off of the local TV news reporting line. I get some wild calls sometimes.

My 15yo briefly got over it, only to teach the 11yo how to play it on his trombone two weeks ago.

My toddler several years ago with her emotional support kidney beans. She also went through a stage with sweet potatoes, not a particular one, but she carried a sweet potato around for a couple weeks as well

Perhaps I should explain. We ALL win because now marching band and flag football are over. Woohoooooooooo I’m going to go sleep for a week!

I’m so sorry. I wish your whole family peace.
