People saying this like we don’t live in a world where Clare Malone “debunked” Hasan Minhaj’s comedy routine. Making a career out of destroying other peoples’ careers absolutely exists. now You See Me just realized that before the rest of us.

Made a huge pot of potato soup with leek, sausage, bacon, and celery. And potatoes. Yukon gold potatoes. It was so good and I am so stuffed. Made about 7lbs and my family will have it gone by tomorrow. 🥔 🍲 😀

Worth reminding everyone that the current highest ranking Democrat in America openly admits he bases his decisions on what he thinks an imaginary person would want and today he and most of his allies are struggling to understand how somebody like Mamdani won by talking to voters who actually exist

There are certain fights that you need to either never pick in the first place or be certain you're willing to see all the way through.

The shutdown was one of them.
November 12, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Democrats didn't just cave and get nothing in exchange for ending the government shutdown. They actually gave shit to the Republicans so it'll be harder to investigate them for crimes—past, present, or future.

Shutdown deal lets senators sue for $500,000 over data seizures like those in Jan. 6 probe
A provision of shutdown deal authorizes senators to bring lawsuits if federal law enforcement seizes or subpoenas their data without notifying them, with potential damages of $500,000.

I had to login to Facebook to use the marketplace. The first thing I saw was AI slop about Elon rescuing an entire shelter of dogs in NYC right before it shut down and the dogs euthanized. Followed by 7,000 comments praising Elon for his act of kindness.

And that summed up Facebook so well.

reprehensible to me that regular citizens putting their bodies on the line to protest ICE abductions are showing more courage every day than our elected officials.

Any democratic senator not calling for Schumer to step down is complicit. And we will replace them all with people willing to fight
Democrats seem to think the pivoting to the center makes them most electable but all it does it piss *everyone* off.

Having beliefs/a backbone and being authentic is the best way to win elections. People are fucking sick of croneyism and corporate suck ups and that is why Zohran cruised to victory

Let's be honest, establishment dems don't want to make things better, they just don't want to make things worse. If making things better becomes even the slightest inconvenience to them, they'll cave in a heartbeat. That's all we're seeing here.

25 years ago, my friends and I could go to Hooters (I was young) on a Tuesday for “triple nickel” wings. Literally ¢15 wings. Want 10 wings? Buck-fifty. Got three friends? Six bucks, all-in.

I just DoorDashed 40 orders of wings and, with delivery fee and tip, it came out to $120.

Rural life:

The cats have not been doing a good job of keeping the in-house scorpion populations (plural, three varieties) down and, while they kill any copperheads that come into the house, nothing is maintaining a perimeter around the property.

Bannon stating outright that Trump will have a third term. And he can: Trump could run as Vance's VP, Vance could resign on day one, and Trump could nominate Vance to be his new VP. They could campaign on it. They could rig the election to make sure it happens.
