Kudos to the art director at the WSJ who chose a center-line distribution to make it look like a sperm instead of a more traditional baseline distribution, which would have looked like a normal chart.
Should have used orange for the dots though.

He had little-to-no brand recognition outside of his state. I didn't know who Walz was. Now I do. And now he's one of the few potential candidates I'll give money to if we still have primaries in '28.

Which is why that was the Democrats one and only shot at getting it done. Look, I'm not disagreeing that universal healthcare would have required a herculean effort. I'm arguing for a party willing to do herculean things.

People said that at the time: too complicated, too divisive, etc. The legislation could have established and delegated the responsibility of implementation to a new government agency. We could have made the window bigger.
