Like a lot of people, I'm often stumped as to the best, most meaningful ways to be active in civic matters, but this is truth nonetheless and we all need to work harder at it.

A lot of comments under this are saying things like "It's not OUR jobs to stop this, it's the job of Congress to stop it!" and like...NO. It IS our jobs as citizens to stop this; Congress is not some customer support line for us to lodge complaints with. We must be active in our civic virtue. TLDR:

There's never a scandal??? Did he actually say that? The Trump administration (both I and II) are wall-to-wall scandals.

Is anyone--anyone at all--questioning RFK Jr. about the story Ryan Lizza is posting about RFK's affair with Olivia Nuzzi? There is plenty that would have forced any cabinet member from any normal administration to resign or be fired.

Wow. I am so not interested in the "poor Olivia Nuzzi" takes. If she feels she was preyed upon, let her claim it. So many people trying to make the case for her is weird and missing the salient point--she was a journalist who slept with her sources/subjects. And got bigger and better jobs all along.

When I read excerpts from Olivia Nuzzi's book, I couldn't help thinking about how bad and overwrought the writing was. Then I read Part 1 of Ryan Lizza's Substack about their relationship, and I couldn't help thinking that Nuzzi really has some serious daddy issues.
