My morale isn't so hot, either. Social Security is a forced savings account. We are forced to contribute to SS from every paycheck we ever earn so that, in theory, when we reach retirement, we will have some money to live on. I just started collecting SS. And I'm angry about losing it. It's mine.

I just watched Country Doctor on HBO. Dr. Graham is a saint. We need better health care, universal would be great. Rural hospitals are as important as urban hospitals.
