The last time I looked for rental housing in San Francisco was November 2020, the *one* time in the past 40 years when landlords had to compete for tenants.
I had landlords calling me up offering to install in-unit laundry and lower-than-advertised rent.

The military has a duty to refuse unlawful orders, but Congress has a duty to remove from office a president and secretary who would issue such orders. There is something off about members of Congress talking about the former while refusing to say the latter, the part that's actually their job here.

I can see the next Democratic admin doing something extremely stupid like asking congress for permission to tear it down. Unpermitted work gets unpermitted removal, thats the law of contractors.
And when the next Dem administration tears it down, it'll be all the more delicious.
